Für «ok.–» ein virtuelles Goal geschossen

Kicked a virtual goal for "ok.-".

The Compresso agency has developed a Euro marketing project for Valora's own brand - with an augmented reality app and advertising materials.

Communications agency Compresso has developed a marketing concept for Valora's own "ok.-" brand centred around the 2020 European Football Championship. As Euro 2020 was postponed until next year, Compresso worked with Valora's marketing team to adapt and develop the campaign within a very short space of time.

The concept: when the professionals have to stay on the bench, "ok.-" customers simply take the ball into their own hands - not on real grass, but on a web platform. Together with the augmented reality experts from Bitforge the Compresso team designed the augmented reality football game "ok.- goal" and the associated advertising material.

Consumers can access the 2D course as soon as they scan a QR code printed on five limited-edition "ok." energy drinks with their smartphone. Which country you compete for depends on the can you buy. Just like in real life, the players try to outwit the goalkeeper and score goals. The game has been launched simultaneously in Switzerland and Germany, according to the press release.

As a consolation for the postponed European Football Championship, consumers can win instant prizes if they are lucky. At the end of the campaign, which runs until 30 July 2020, all players will also be entered into a prize draw to win a trip to London 2021 for the European Football Championship final.
