If you're a gamer with fond memories of the early 90s, you might like to take a look at the upcoming "Pixel Ripped 1995". It's a game within a game, so to speak, and in virtual reality.
Arvore Immersive Experiences has now released the launch trailer for "Pixel Ripped 1995", which shows pretty well what to expect from the VR game. "Pixel Ripped 1995" will be released on 23 April 2020 for Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality. PlayStation VR, on the other hand, will be supplied in May 2020.
"Pixel Ripped is back with a brand new, nostalgia-tinged virtual reality game within a game, this time from 1995," it says. In the new offshoot of the series, the goal is to restore balance in several dimensions. That's why the video game hero Dot recruits the help of the best player from 1995, a nine-year-old boy named David.
The further Description: "Join this unlikely duo for challenging throwbacks to all your favourite late 16-bit and early 32-bit era classics in a world of virtual reality as you manoeuvre through the real-life challenges of a kid who just wants to save the world by doing what he does best - playing video games." Genres available include action RPGs, brawlers, 2D platformers, space shooters and racing games.
