The MySwitzerland.com website with 45,000 travel destinations, VR videos and texts in 16 languages wins the "Oscar of the travel industry".

Good news from the old year: MySwitzerland.com wins the award "World's Leading Tourism Authority Website 2019", the "Oscar of the travel industry". The project for Switzerland Tourism's new web portal was "quite a big box" even for the experienced and successful digital agency Hinderling Volkart, writes Hinderling Volkart in a statement. No less than the presentation and linking of over 45,000 Swiss travel destinations and holiday routes, events, sights and accommodation in combination with over 400,000 stored images was at stake. And in such a way that the user is taken to where Switzerland is particularly attractive for him personally as a matter of course. All this with the best possible performance, on every device and in 16 languages.

The central element of the new website is the inspiration calendar on the homepage of MySwitzerland.com. 48 spectacular drone videos show the diversity of Switzerland as a tourist destination along the annual cycle. All important information, including booking links, are always just a click away.

The digital highlight of the new website is revealed to visitors who look at the website through VR glasses: The videos, transformed into the world of virtual reality, expand the visual voyages of discovery with 3D effects, panoramic views and further information.
