The VR climbing game "The Climb", which has been available for Oculus Rift since 2016, will also be released for Oculus Quest. The release date has now been announced after the title went quiet recently.
It has now been confirmed that "The Climb" will be released for Oculus Quest on 3 December 2019. A corresponding entry can be found in the Oculus Store available. "The Climb" invites VR fans to survive a dangerous climbing tour unsecured in order to experience the ultimate extreme sport. It promises realistically realised climbing locations all over the world as well as playful freedom.
Crytek offers three different areas for the Quest version: The Alps, South East Asia and the American South West, with day and night climbing. You can either climb alone or against the records of other players or friends. Corresponding leaderboards can be viewed. The trailer shows that the graphics have been reduced somewhat (compared to Oculus Rift), but they still look pretty slick.
