Heavy Mode for Blood & Truth

Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new and above all free content update for "Blood & Truth" on PlayStation VR, adding the hardest difficulty level yet and more challenges compatible with the PSVR Aim controller.

The new hard mode makes "Blood & Truth" significantly more challenging than in normal mode. The difficulty level can be activated individually for individual missions or across the entire campaign using the "New Game+" option. To do this, however, the story must be completed on the "Normal" difficulty level or in "Cinema Mode". If you play through the entire campaign in hard mode, you will also receive a new trophy. The manufacturer's details on the new challenges are available below.

New challenges

  • Authentic skeet shooting: In the "Authentic Skeet Shooting" challenge, players move between eight stations and shoot at high and low-flying clay discs, which rise either individually or in a double pack. The perfect score is 25, but time also plays a major role in the high score.
  • Extreme skeet shooting: Between eight stations on the rooftops of London, the aim is not only to hit clay targets, but also additional targets between the stations for extra points.
  • Endurance skeet shooting: This challenge involves shooting clay discs from high towers. For every clay disc the players miss, one of their three lives is deducted. Three consecutive hits restore one life. The challenge only ends when the players have lost all their lives.
  • Puzzle skeet shooting: After three hits, a coloured clay disc rises into the air, whereby a certain colour must always be hit in order to continue to the next section. If the correct clay disc is missed, it must be reactivated with three new hits.
  • Action clay pigeon shooting: This challenge, in which there are stationary and flying targets, serves to train your own skills.
  • A garden gnome is hidden in every challenge. Players receive the ZWERGNARÖK trophy for shooting all the gnomes.
