LEGO Hidden Side: Sets with AR functions released

LEGO has officially launched the "Hidden Side" series. This currently consists of eight more or less spooky sets, but they are certainly varied. The building sets also offer a new function.

If you like, children (and perhaps adults) can play with the "LEGO Hidden Side" sets as normal and of course build them up beforehand, just as they always have, but a free app can be downloaded for iOS and Android as an option in order to use the building sets via Augmented reality to life. In this way, you can complete some small mini-games and activate or find interactive and hidden elements of the sets. On the official side from LEGO explains what the new AR series and app have to offer. There are also several videos available for viewing.

This is the frame story: "Being the new kid in town is never easy. The main character Jack Davids (13) does his best to adapt to his new, seemingly sleepy hometown of Newbury. Soon after, Newbury's hidden side - a terrifying, long-forgotten realm full of ghosts - threatens to take over the town. With his new best friend Parker (also 13 years old) and the brilliant scientist J.B. Watt, who has invented an app that can expose and defeat the spirits of the hidden side, Jack embarks on the ghost hunt of a lifetime!"
