With "18 Floors", Winking Entertainment has released a new puzzle game for PlayStation VR. The interesting title has been available as a download since this week. PlayStation Store available.
In "18 Floors", the goal is to break out of rooms. In this context, various puzzles and mechanics must be discovered and cracked. The makers explain: "As a player, you find yourself in an ominous, mystical place that you can only leave by solving interconnected puzzles, each of which keeps a room locked. As part of a planned, more expansive game series, this instalment features two levels with numerous rooms, each with its own special environment."
"18 Floors" is based on the traditional idea of the 18 levels in the underworld of Chinese folklore. That is why various references to Chinese culture were incorporated. However, you don't necessarily have to be familiar with the theme to solve the puzzles. By the way, each room was designed in an individual way, which of course helps the variety.
