Mit „Nefertari: Journey to Eternity“ ist nun eine spannende VR-App erschienen, mit der man die Grabkammer der Queen Nefertari is allowed to explore. The burial chamber is considered one of the most detailed buildings in Egyptian culture.
As you can also see from the video, the walls of the burial chamber are ornately decorated and feature many pictures that tell a story. Fans of ancient Egypt can probably spend a long time exploring the artworks, as there are many interactive elements and explanations. Some of the rooms are even so low that you have to crouch down when exploring the vaults.
Laut den Machern wurde die komplette Grabkammer bis auf den Millimeter genau eingescannt und als 3D-Modell am PC für die virtuelle Realität rekonstruiert und passend ausgeleuchtet. Die Wandgemälde kommen dadurch sehr detailliert und gestochen scharf daher. „Nefertari: Journey to Eternity“ kann jetzt kostenlos über Steam for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
