Tetris Effect for PSVR

We can look forward to another "Tetris" game, but this time it will look very different. Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced "Tetris Effect", which will be released for the PlayStation 4 in autumn 2018, with optional support for PlayStation VR.

The new plant is intended to "Tetris" a completely new twist. Tetris Effect" is being developed by Enhance Games and Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who is known from popular games such as "Rez" and "Lumines". Impressions of the visual adaptations can be seen in the latest video.

A total of 30 levels promised: "In more than 30 levels, you are immersed in a fantastic world that evolves according to your playing behaviour: Background elements, sound, special effects - everything, including the Tetris pieces themselves, pulsates, dances, glitters, makes music, explodes. And absolutely synchronised with your actions."

It adds: "Together with the music, characters and animations, which are new for each level and are triggered by your moves, an atmosphere is created that you can really feel. The aim is to create a certain mood and evoke an emotional response." If you take a look at the video and the description, the old game principle should successfully shine in new splendour, whereby "Tetris" is timeless anyway.
