Survival horror Agony also for VR

The survival horror game "Agony" will be released on 29 May 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As soon as this is complete, Madmind Studios will take care of a VR version, which is planned for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

However, there will be some changes compared to the non-VR version. This is currently being analysed to find out what needs to be adapted. Nevertheless, the game should basically have a very similar feel. A release date has not been announced.

"We know that some of our mechanics will have to be changed, so the VR version will be different from the base version, but we want to achieve a similar gameplay experience. Some parts of the main game will probably be cut from the VR version, but we will expand other parts, so the scope of gameplay should be similar," said the Statement from the developers.

To "Agony"which aims to impress with an extensive story mode, according to the manufacturer: "The title, which was initially successfully funded on Kickstarter, throws players into the brutal dystopia of a twisted world. Trapped in this mother of all visions of hell, it is not only a matter of ensuring your own survival, but also of unravelling the mystery behind the mysterious Red Goddess, the mistress of this nightmare! [...] Hunted by the incarnations of humanity's worst nightmares, players can take on demons and other poor souls to help them make their way back to the light."
