Augmented reality app brings magazine to life

Zurich-based VR and AR service provider Bandara has developed a smartphone application for property developer Fortimo Group AG that enriches the company magazine "Fortissimo" with 3D content. 

Recipients of the new issue of "Fortissimo" will find a notice on the first pages of the magazine that they should download the "Fortissimo AR" app onto their smartphone. This allows them to view augmented reality content on appropriately labelled pages. For example, Fortimo's property projects grow out of the magazine as 3D models and can be viewed from all sides. If you tap the roof of a model, it is hidden and you get a glimpse of the top flats. The application developed for iOS and Android also includes videos, picture galleries and two 360° tours of Fortimo properties. 

 The Bandara VR GmbHwhich was responsible for the project, is one of the leading virtual reality content studios in Switzerland. The company supports its customers in utilising 360°, VR and AR content profitably.
