Play football in VR

Cherry Pop Games has announced that "VRFC" (short for "Virtual Reality Football Club") will be released on 27 February 2018 for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Ouclus Rift. It allows you to play football in virtual reality from a first-person perspective.

"VRFC" offers online matches for up to eight players. You perform running, dribbling and shooting movements from the footballer's perspective, with the developers promising a unique and agile movement mechanic called "Agile Locomotion". "Compete in competitive 8-player matches online with global leaderboards or play against your mates in private friendlies. And with fully customisable game settings, you can tailor your agile VR experience to your needs," the developers say.

And since "VRFC" cannot be compared to "FIFA 18" or "PES 2018", according to Cherry Pop Games an innovative upper body workout that burns calories while you play: "VR as a great gym that gets you fit in a fun way, where you feel the effort but it doesn't feel like a workout!"

The developers explain the "Agile Locomotion" controls as follows: "We use two motion controllers as feet and the natural arm movements as simple running and shooting mechanics, complemented by a series of simple button combinations to control the more precise movements. " A trailer provides game scenes.
