Many "Star Wars" fans are certainly looking forward to the full-body VR experience "Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire", which will be available in time for the cinema release of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".
"Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire" cannot be brought home, however, as this is a VR attraction for Disney World in Orlando (from 16 December 2017) and Disneyland in Anaheim (from 5 January 2018). "Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire" was created in collaboration with the full-body VR experts from The Void ("Ghostbusters: Dimensions").
In "Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire" a squad of four rebels disguised as stormtroopers must complete a mission on the lava planet Mustafar. It was there that Anakin Skywalker became the famous Darth father when Obi-Wan Kenobi defeated him in a lightsaber duel.
Lucasfilm, ILMxLAB and The Void promise that with "Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire" you can immerse yourself in the sci-fi universe. There will be shooting and puzzles to solve, while K-2SO from "Rogue One" will be on hand to assist visitors. The first trailer certainly looks very promising. We can look forward to a truly immersive experience.
