Google's Tilt Brush is groundbreaking for the artist scene in VR and is also a good example of the tracking capabilities of the HTC Vive. In order to take the programme further, the company worked with over 60 well-known artists. The result is really something to be proud of.

Tilt Brush, the tool when it comes to this, Art in virtual reality offers a completely new way of experiencing art. Instead of imitating three-dimensionality, the artist can work directly in 3D. However, to master this, you have to go back to square one, says Scott McCloud, cartoonist and author. He is part of a huge Google project called "Artist in Residence", which has given over 60 artists the opportunity to explore Tilt Brush for themselves and express their creativity freely.

The resulting artworks are as diverse as their creators and once again demonstrate the possibilities that virtual reality has in store for us. From huge worlds to impressive sculptures, to small but beautiful scenes of contemplation. As soon as the participants discovered that it was possible to fully immerse themselves in their own painting, there was no stopping them. "It's as if you're creating art in your dreams", "A strange mix of totally new territory and the already familiar". The result can be seen on the official website and encourages you to try your hand at this new form of creation.
