Fallout 4 and Dark Souls soon in VR?

Todd Howard, Director and Executive Producer at Bethesda and the brains behind the Skyrim and Fallout games, announced in an interview with Glixel a VR version of the hit game Fallout 4. This should not just be a small demo or something similar. "We have the opportunity to create something unique," says Howard.

He pays little attention to the potential market. "That will all work out." After all, the success of Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has shown that Bethesda's games appeal to far more than just one target group. "It has shown us that some of the things we do appeal to people who otherwise don't play games or role-play games." He sees one reason for this in the incredible experience that Skyrim delivers. The player is immersed in a wonderful world and can do whatever they want. A VR game is actually perfect for evoking the same feeling. "That's the promise that VR gives us, to be in a virtual world. The essence of it is to put on the headset and stand in the world of Fallout and go wherever you want."

Unfortunately, it is not yet known when more can be expected. However, Atsuo Yoshimura, the producer of Dark Souls at the Golden Joystick Awardsthat the hit game Dark Souls will soon be realised in virtual reality. We are waiting with bated breath!
