The Geneva film festival "Tous Ecran" came to an end last weekend. The special thing about this year's edition was that an international competition for VR was held in Switzerland for the first time. Ten entries were in the running to win the first award in the "International VR Films Competition" category. The prize for the first-placed film was CHF 10,000, which was donated by the city and canton of Geneva. The winners were the Dutchmen Joost Jordens and Mike von Rotz with their VR film "Transition", based on the music by Kettel - Secede "Canned Forever". In this film, the viewer experiences a journey from the material to the spiritual world. At the beginning of the film, the viewer floats on a rocking boat on a river through a landscape with warm pastel colours. The viewer watches the flying and glowing fish and then dives into a spiritual environment.
