Metaverse should not become a male domain

The metaverse is increasingly hyped and promises incredible potential. Current forecasts show that an industry worth billions is forming in the metaverse. For example, in the study "Value creation in Metaverse" published in June 2022, the consulting firm McKinsey estimates the potential of the metaverse at up to five trillion dollars in potential value generation by 2030.

Now Zurich-based Watson financial expert Olga Miler is fighting back against Metaverse becoming a male-only domain and expanding her startup SmartPurse with the world's first independent financial wellness platform in the new world. "While we are still struggling with issues like the gender-pay gap, Web 3.0 is creating a new movement that is in danger of becoming a man's world. This must change now and the first approaches are emerging," Miler is quoted as saying in a press release.

Teaching financial knowledge in a playful way

As an entrepreneur and financial expert, Olga Miler has been tirelessly promoting financial education and equality in all possible channels for years: she has been writing the Money Talks blog on Watson News for almost three years. She also runs the independent financial education platform SmartPurse and has already launched a financial education app this summer.

With the SmartPurse Metastudio, she is now venturing into the metaverse.
