Scouts in the Metaverse

Around 170 members of the Zug Pfadi Zytturm met for a big game with numerous virtual heroes.

The visit of Ali Express, Battery Man, Billie Eilish, Sherlock Holmes, Capri Sonne and Maya the Bee was the big highlight of the first departmental activity of Pfadi Zyttrum Zug. They came from the Metaverse to extend their sphere of influence from the Metaverse to the real world. To do this, they depended on as many fans as possible, which they sought from our Pfadi.

Around 170 members of Pfadi Zytturm Zug came from all levels a few days ago to support their heroine or hero.

Post run with metaverse

While the Beavers (5 to 6 years) and Wolfli (7 to 10 years) were able to meet the great personalities directly on the Schützenmattwiese, the Scouts (11 to 17 years) met earlier on the Landsgemeindeplatz. The post run in the direction of the Schützenmattwiese, which was intended as preparation, proved to be more difficult than expected.

Maya the Bee and Co depended on the latest digital technologies to keep increasing their influence. So the scouts transported many QR codes from the beginning of the playing field - the real world - through various game zones to its end: the metaverse. The members of the different levels were distributed among the zones, each of which had different challenges to master. While the smaller ones had to prove their dexterity, the bigger ones required more physical effort, boldness and wit to get the QR codes through the zones.

Because the different fan groups were able to take away each other's QR codes, for example by stealing each other's fox tails, there was a lot of hustle and bustle. As a farewell, everyone received a badge from their metacharacter, which they can sew onto their scout shirt as a memento.
