The Oculus Quest remake of the classic adventure game "Myst", which was released last year, will also be released for the PC on 26 August 2021. The SteamVR version supports Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Valve Index. However, the title can also be played without a VR headset.
"Myst has been designed from the ground up to be played in VR as well as on traditional screens. It's teeming with new art, new sound, redesigned interactions and even optional random puzzle generation," says developer Cyan Worlds. The new trailer sets the mood.
The VR experience includes both free-roam and teleport modes. In addition, "Myst" includes many convenience features for new and experienced VR users, including the option to enable smooth or fast spinning, fast climbing stairs and ladders, vertical height adjustment and more. "Myst" will also be released via GOG and the Epic Games Store, as well as for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
