After the VR version of the horror game "Blair Witch" was previously released for Quest and Rift via the Oculus Store, SteamVR and PlayStation VR have now also had their turn. There is also a new live action launch trailer to watch.
About SteamVR Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Valve Index and Windows Mixed Reality are supported. The "Blair Witch: VR Edition" is a psychological horror game developed by Bloober Team. In this story inspired by the film "Blair Witch", you experience the effects of fear in virtual reality on the mind.
The story says: "Ellis, a former police officer with a troubled past, is searching for a missing boy in the Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland. What begins as an ordinary investigation soon confronts you with your deepest fears and an ominous force known as the Witch of Blair. Bullet, your four-legged K-9 partner, accompanies you. He'll be on the lookout for you in these spooky woods." The horror game has been remastered for virtual reality and offers "a unique and immersive VR experience for horror fans", according to the creators.
