Vertigo Games has confirmed that the co-operative VR first-person shooter "After the Fall" will no longer be released in summer 2021 for PC VR, Oculus Quest 2 and PlayStation VR. The release has been postponed until later in the year.
The implementation for the original Oculus Quest will not even follow until 2022. "To ensure a smooth multiplatform launch with cross-platform support, we are giving our development team the time they need to complete their work," said the official statement.
It continues: "After the Fall is our most ambitious VR title to date, developed from the ground up for three very different VR gaming platforms. Under the bonnet, our team has been working hard to develop the necessary infrastructure to ensure that you can experience the game seamlessly together, regardless of the platform you're playing on."
