Developer Happy Giant and publisher Big Sugar will launch the VR adventure "Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual" on 8 July 2021 Oculus Quest 1&2. The entry in the Oculus Store is already available.
While the date for the Quest version has been set, "Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual" will also be released later in the year via SteamVR and Viveport Infinity. The implementation for PlayStation VR is planned for early 2022. If you would like to see the title for yourself, you are welcome to watch an approximately 20-minute long Gameplay video View.
The amusing game description: "Sam is a dog with a hat. Max is a hyperkinetic naked rabbit thing. Together they are the Freelance Police, the intergalactically famous agents of indiscriminately applied justice, now starring in their umpteenth video game, Sam & Max: This Time It's Virtual. Even multimedia warriors against evil like Sam & Max can use a hand, and this time they use the incomprehensible magic of virtual reality to invite the player into their crazy world for a furious day of monster fights, obstacle courses, responsibly fired firearms and, of course, saving the whole damn world."
