Impulse Gear, the studio behind the PSVR shooter "Farpoint" from 2017, has announced a new multiplayer VR team shooter called "Larcenauts". The title will be released in summer 2021 for Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift and SteamVR.
In "Larcenauts", you take on the role of one of eight specialists and form a crew of up to six people with other players. Various skills, weapons, modes and maps are promised for the 6v6 matches. A first trailer is available for viewing, while the official site is also online.
The game description: "Choose from eight different specialists, each with unique weapons and abilities, to compete in 6v6 matches. Game modes include Territories-style Refuel, Capture-the-Flag-style Dronehack and classic Team Deathmatch on a variety of maps. Each specialist has a unique quick ability and a special item that players can use in battle. Expand your specialist's abilities with power slates, customisable weapon loadouts and stylish skins to keep your look fresh."
