The creator of the N64 classic "1080° Snowboarding" from 1998, Giles Goddard, is currently working on "Carve Snowboarding", which will be released for the Oculus Quest platform in summer 2021.
Not too much is currently known about "Carve Snowboarding", which was unveiled during the Oculus Gaming Showcase. However, we do know that the game is played from a first-person perspective and a trailer provides the first impressions of the VR snowboarding game.
The studio Chuhai Labs describes the title as follows: "Carve Snowboarding is a brand new arcade snowboarding game from the creator of 1080. Customise your runs with many unlockable elements including boards, gloves and even songs - with over 60 songs from indie artists. Dominate the mountain in either Time Attack or Freestyle mode and rise through the ranks."
