Snapchat: With Bugs Bunny on the Toffifee hunt

Before Easter, the Storck company launches a mini-game on Snapchat in which the aim is to virtually catch Toffifees. The cartoon rabbit Bugs Bunny from Warner Bros. makes the augmented reality experience perfect.

Together with Snapchat and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the confectionery manufacturer Storck has launched a mini-game to relieve users' boredom even during the most severe lockdown. And because Bugs Bunny is the most famous long ear in the world after the Easter Bunny, he is also allowed to look over the players' shoulders.

The highlight of the game is the use of augmented reality: the aim is to inspire younger target groups in particular by making them an immediate part of the game. "We know that AR is a powerful technology when it comes to allowing consumers to interact with a brand," explains Carmen Wilhelms, Senior Product Manager Toffifee at Storck.

Here's how it works: first select the Toffifee Lens in the Snapchat Lens carousel, point the smartphone camera at yourself in selfie mode and start the game. From then on, it's all about opening your mouth and virtually collecting and eating 15 Toffifees that fall from above. If you're not too embarrassed, you can share the grimaces you make as a photo or video with friends and family. The AR mini-game is available on Snapchat until Easter Sunday.
