The publisher MWM Interactive and the developer InnerspaceVR, which one can read from "A Fisherman's Tale" have announced when exactly the VR puzzle adventure "Maskmaker" will be released.
"Maskmaker" will therefore be released on 20. April 2021 for Oculus Rift S, Quest (via link cable), PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and PC-VR via SteamVR has been released. To celebrate the upcoming launch of the title, those responsible have released a trailer showing new insights into the adventure in the world of masks. "Our team set out to create non-linear adventure games that make players feel like they're actually there as they explore the mysterious world of Maskmaker," said Balthazar Auxietre, creative director and co-founder of InnerspaceVR. "We designed the game to make players feel like real craftsmen as they create the intricate masks and experience the freedom of the unique worlds within the masks."
The official description: "In Maskmaker, players meet the powerful leader of the Masked World, Prospero, who invites them into his workshop as his apprentice. As players learn how to craft magical masks, they discover that their new ability allows them to travel to different worlds and take possession of the guardians within the Masked Realm. Players must explore each world to collect rare resources, solve puzzles and develop their crafting skills to prove they are worthy of being a Mask Maker. From mask to mask and puzzle to puzzle, players will make their way through the Masked Realm in search of Prospero and ultimately unravel the truth behind his identity."
