Ubisoft already released two VR games in September 2020 announcedwhich will be released exclusively for the Oculus platform. These are based on the well-known brands "Assassin's Creed" and "Splinter Cell", but no information was given at the time. Now there is a little news about "Splinter Cell VR".
A job advertisement from Ubisoft in Düsseldorf, which is involved in the VR game, suggests that "Splinter Cell VR" could have some kind of multiplayer mode/component. They are looking for a senior lead game designer to work on the game's multiplayer. Unfortunately, nothing more is said about this.
As Ubisoft has not yet revealed any specific details about "Splinter Cell VR", it remains to be seen whether multiplayer will actually be on board. All that was said at last year's announcement was that the two titles have been customised from the ground up for the Oculus platform and will feature elements that fans of the game series know and love.
