Fotokite, HEGIAS AG, qiio AG, Robotic Systems Lab (ETH) and ZaiNarInc are the winners of this year's Swisscom StartUp Challenge focusing on 5G technology. They convinced the 11-member jury from Ericsson, Qualcomm CDMA Technologies and Swisscom in the online pitch. In March 2021, they will now test their 5G use cases and prototypes for a week in the Swisscom 5G Lab and on the live network in different locations and in entire regions. In addition to the jury, the audience also chose their favourite: HEGIAS AG, who want to democratise VR.

To score points with the jury, the start-ups not only had to present clever ideas and a convincing business model, but also demonstrate team spirit and determination. The jury was particularly enthusiastic about the following start-ups: Fotokite, HEGIAS AG, qiio AG, Robotic Systems Lab (ETH) and ZaiNarInc.
