Electronic Arts, Motive Studios, Lucasfilm and ILM have released a rather impressive CGI short film for "Star Wars: Squadrons", which will be fully playable in VR on PC and PlayStation 4.
The short film is called "Hunted" and introduces one of the elite pilots you will fight alongside in the single-player story of "Star Wars: Squadrons". "Star Wars: Squadrons" will be released on 2 October 2020 for PC (Origin, Steam, Epic Games Store), Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Cross-play is supported on all platforms, which also applies to VR users. This means you can play together or against each other on all systems.
EA on the CGI short film: "In this stand-alone story, the Imperial forces retreat after a surprise attack by the New Republic at the Imperial shipyard of Var-Shaa. But the battle is far from over for Varko Grey, the leader of the Titan squadron. He finds himself the last TIE pilot on the battlefield, being hunted by a renegade New Republic X-wing fighter."
