Mega Man VR can be experienced in Japan

Capcom has announced "Mega Man VR: Targeted Virtual World", albeit as a stationary experience in Japan. So you can't experience it at home. The whole thing will be available from 18 July 2020 in the "Prasaca Capcom Ikebukuro Store" (Tokyo) in the VR-X zone.

In "Mega Man VR: Targeted Virtual World", you can visit the world of "Mega Man 11" in virtual reality, with a single-player arcade VR experience. The single-player adventure naturally lets players slip into the role of the famous Mega Man.

The aim is to prevent the devious Dr Wily from conquering the virtual world. With Dr Light's custom-made VR headset, you experience the action from a first-person perspective while using your hands to shoot enemies with Mega Man's powerful weapon and defeat Dr Wily.
