The indie studio Pixel Reef has announced that "Paper Beast", the VR exploration game and adventure known from PlayStation VR, will also be released for PC (SteamVR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive) in summer 2020. A trailer gets you in the mood.
According to the developers, the PC version of "Paper Beast" offers numerous new features, such as continuous Move support, better graphics, new gameplay tricks, an expanded sandbox mode and new creatures, plants and items. The latest work from Eric Chahi, the designer behind "Another World", "Heart of Darkness" and "From Dust", is a game in which you explore a dreamlike ecosystem made up of lost parts of the internet.
"I'm very proud that we can finally talk about the PC version of Paper Beast," says Eric Chahi, founder of Pixel Reef. "The response to the PS4 version from fans and critics has been better than we ever expected, so I can't wait for the title to be available for PC VR players. It's also been a lot of fun returning to the development of the title and adding lots of new features to this version of Paper Beast." Here you can find our PSVR test of "Paper Beast".
