The developer Fireproof Games sets its well-known puzzle game series "The Room" with "The Room VR: A Dark Matter". The VR title will be released on 26 March 2020, as has been confirmed.
"The Room VR: A Dark Matter" supports numerous VR headsets, including PlayStation VR, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift (S), Valve Index, Vive Cosmos, HTC Vive and Windows Mixed Reality. Unfortunately, Oculus Go, Gear VR, Samsung VR, Google Cardboard and other platforms are not supported.
The Frame story: "The British Institute of Archaeology, London, 1908: The disappearance of a respected Egyptologist leads to a police investigation into the unknown. Explore mysterious places, investigate fantastic objects and enter a ghostly plane where the boundaries between reality and illusion blur."
According to the creators, "The Room VR: A Dark Matter" was developed from the ground up for the possibilities of VR systems. Players should immerse themselves completely in the world of "The Room" and interact with strange devices. The trailer provides the right impressions.
