"Child's Play" will be released in cinemas in July 2019. It is a reboot of the original story centred around the famous Killer doll Chucky. A VR experience was released to go with it.
Via YouTube the 360-degree experience is available free of charge. In it, you experience a scene from the film from a first-person perspective. In the VR experience for "Child's Play", you are chased through a supermarket by the murder puppet Chucky. According to the makers, this is modelled on the original film in great detail.
Unfortunately, the whole thing is not interactive. You can only move your head, but otherwise the action runs on rails. However, a more extensive VR experience is promised for the future. "Child's Play" can be experienced in the YouTubeVR app or in WebXR-compatible browsers.
