Ubisoft has now announced that the VR arcade shooter "Space Junkies" will be released on 26 March 2019 for PlayStation VR, Windows Mixed Reality, Oculus Rift + Touch and HTC Vive.
If that's not enough, you can also watch a new trailer. According to Ubisoft, there will also be several test phases before the official launch, including an open beta. However, no dates have yet been announced. On the official side you can register for it.
At launch, "Space Junkies" will offer 1v1, 2v2 and free-for-all modes as well as various weapon and customisation options across six indoor and outdoor arenas. Each arena features unique tactical zones, dynamic lighting and destructible environments.
Ubisoft promises: "Every battle will feel unique, and players will need their wits and fighting skills to prevent death from coming at them from all directions. In addition, the game will receive new content updates after release, including new modes, maps, weapons and customisation items."
