HTC and McLaren Racing have released the "Vive Pro McLaren Limited Edition Headset". This is the first jointly developed product since the partnership was announced in May 2018.
In addition to the special design, the headset is combined with the new "McLaren Garage VR" experience and a special version of "RFactor 2" that requires no accessories. "McLaren Garage VR Experience" is a multiplayer simulation game where you are part of the McLaren pit team. In it, you learn how to make tyre adjustments during a race. The experience includes the "Pitstop Challenge", a multiplayer game that allows VR users to explore McLaren's latest "pit" in room-scale VR. It's all about changing tyres and challenging other people to change tyres.
The "Vive Pro McLaren Limited Edition Headset" includes a free six-month Viveport subscription, where you can exclusively download the "McLaren Garage VR" experience and the customised "RFactor2: McLaren Edition". The VR headset in selected markets and in the HTC Vive E-Commerce Store available.
