In the DLC, which is based on the TV series "Star Trek: The Next Generation" you get to take a seat on the bridge of the famous U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. You fight against the Romulans or the Borg, while "patrol" and "resistance" are two additional mission types.
Furthermore, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" introduces the new command role "Ops", which is fully focused on crew management. The Ops crew must plan ahead and assign the right NPC teams to each location on the ship. This is quite important because each position is crucial for the success of the different missions and for the safety of the crew.
