Astro Bot: Rescue Mission to be released in October

Sony Interactive Entertainment has now announced that the Jump & Run "Astro Bot: Rescue Mission" will be released for PlayStation VR on 4 October 2018, which applies to both download and stationary retail.

Fans of colourful platformers can also enjoy a new trailer. In the VR game, you take control of Astro, the captain of a spaceship, in search of his missing crew. The adventure comprises a total of 26 levels "that will take the platform genre to a new level with 360-degree VR gameplay, huge and oversized bosses, precise controls and a healthy mix of challenge and humour". At least that's the makers' promise.

"Until the game is ready to land in your homes, the guys from Japan Studio's Asobi! team are working hard to ensure that Astro Bot is as good as you've come to expect from us, both technically and in terms of gameplay." says Nicolas DoucetCreative Director of Sony Japan Studio.
