Sci-fi adventure Detached comes out for VR

Anshar Studios will release the new sci-fi adventure "Detached" on 18 May 2018 for PC (Oculus Rift and HTC Vive) and on 5 July 2018 for PlayStation VR. A new trailer provides promising impressions.

According to the makers, "Detached" is a space VR game that requires tactics and skill. The official game description: "You are trapped in an abandoned space station and have to find your crew in a race against time before your oxygen supplies run out. You solve puzzles to open airlocks, locate energy cores and deactivate transmitters, and something tells you that you won't be alone in the vastness of the universe."

In addition to the single-player mode, you can also compete against other players in multiplayer. There are Two modes for selection:

  • Package extraction: A standard battle with "capture the flag" rules in which you have to grab the package and transport it to your base.
  • Race: Get as many checkpoints as possible and cross the finish line first.

However, there is also a warning: "This is an extreme VR experience that simulates sudden and intense acceleration, free fall, spinning and rolling. Even with a frame rate of 90, the game is unsuitable for players who are sensitive to virtual reality."
