With "Wanted Killer VR", a new first-person shooter for HTC Vive is in development, which will even be released as early as May 2018, but for the time being only as an unfinished version over the Steam-Early-Access. The finished version is planned for the fourth quarter of 2018.
The Berlin-based developer Playsnak relies on a comic look for "Wanted Killer VR" that is reminiscent of the shooter role-playing game "Borderlands", for example. Game director Patrick Esteves promises that the shooter combines characters and stories from B-movies with innovative VR gunplay. A combo system and bullet-time mechanics (slow-motion effects) are supposed to provide stylish and motivating action.
Due to the B-movie charm, the description of the plot is correspondingly meagre: "When Ricky Slade wakes up in the clutches of the evil corporation he wanted to bring down, it's time for plan B. Now Ricky must track down his team, regroup and find a way out before it's too late. " There are four heroes with different abilities to choose from, with gameplay scenes shown in the trailer.
