Popular comedy duo Jay and Silent Bob will soon be seen in a VR series. The comedy VR series of the cult chaotic characters is called "Jay and Silent Bob VR", with a start planned for summer 2018. However, no exact date has been given.
"Jay and Silent Bob VR" is being produced in collaboration with STX Surreal (the VR division of STX Entertainment). Viewers will take on the perspective of the character Silent Bob while Jay (played by Jason Mewes, of course) guides them through the virtual adventure.
Kevin Smith, the inventor of Jay and Silent Bob, is not only playing Bob, he is also directing the VR series and taking care of the production. "Jay and Silent Bob VR" and other VR projects will be available via an app from STX Surreal which is to be released for various VR headsets.
