Civilisations AR: Museum in the living room

As part of the multi-part documentary series, the BBC has „Civilisations“ eine sehr interessante AR-App namens „Civilisations AR“ veröffentlicht, mit der man in 3D eingescannte Artefakte aus britischen Museen in das eigene Wohnzimmer projizieren kann.

The download is free of charge for iOS and Android verfügbar.

Those who examine the objects a little more closely receive supplementary information, pictures and audio commentary. An X-ray function even allows you to look inside some objects. The VR app offers a geographical and thematic search for artefacts so that you don't lose track. At launch, more than 30 objects available (overview in the link), but more is to follow.
