"Sprint Vector", the parkour racing game that could effectively be described as "Mario Kart" on foot, will be released on 8 February 2018 for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift and on 13 February 2018 for PlayStation VR.
In "Sprint Vector" the runners compete on interdimensional 8-player tracks and challenge maps. There is climbing, jumping and even flying, all at an insane speed. On offer, in addition to the online matches, are a total of 12 race tracks, nine solo challenge courses and numerous power-ups, which should provide plenty of action and variety.
"We wanted to create a game where you can move crazy fast, in almost any way you can think of. You should get the feeling that there are no limits. We therefore focused on a new kind of freedom of movement in VR and tried to dispel the preconceptions that fast movements in VR always lead to nausea," says Lauren Irvine, community manager at developer Survios.
It complements: "Sprint Vector's fluid movement system and intuitive motion sequences ensure that even with VR, you can consistently maintain extreme speeds without feeling nauseous. The fluid motion consists of smooth, natural arm movements and simple mechanics, making the system easy for players to learn and fun to master."
