Bernmobil relies on augmented reality

The Bernese agency Hofer Kommunikation has implemented a creative concept based on augmented reality for Bernmobil.

From the 2017 timetable change, various lines will now run one hour longer at weekends. The Bern agency Hofer Kommunikation, which are already available for Simmental Tourism was allowed to create a VR concept, has translated these dry facts into a creative concept with AR, because this not only provides connections from the last intercity trains arriving at Bern station to trams and buses, but also gives people who like to go out 60 minutes longer to flirt or maintain their social life.

The campaign is skilfully linked via various advertising channels. A TV spot, posters, hanging boxes, banners, eBoards, adverts, a Facebook competition and a radio spot were realised. The campaign offers plenty of opportunities for dialogue and AR. As you can see in the video, you can bring the posters to life with your own mobile phone.

This innovative storytelling emotionalises and brings the message to life. BERNMOBIL customers can help shape the course of the public transport romance campaign themselves, because anyone who comments on the public transport romance can take part in the campaign competition. The winners will receive 5 annual Libero travelcards.
