Sci-fi VR adventure Far Home announced

The new British developer DevCubeStudio has announced the sci-fi VR adventure "Far Home". The shooter will be released in January 2018 in the Early Access launch. The full release will also take place in 2018 for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

According to the developers, "Far Home" is a unique science fiction adventure that takes us to the year 2300, where humanity is looking for a new home because the Earth is overpopulated and polluted. "Far Home" is the first VR game from DevCubeStudio. It promises to be an action-packed first-person shooter with co-op mode that delivers a unique and team-based science fiction experience. You can choose from six individual character classes and explore five different planets.

"We are very proud to announce our game, which we have been working on since 2015. It was a difficult decision to start a VR project, but we are now just a small step away from presenting the results of our hard work. We sincerely hope that the gaming world will be interested in our project," said Aleksander Shevchenko, CEO of DevCubeStudio.
