Following the recent release of "Assassin's Creed Origins" for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Ubisoft is now trying its hand at a VR experience for "Assassin's Creed", which is being created in collaboration with Triotech.
Triotech specialises in interactive experiences such as 3D rides. However, the VR experience for "Assassin's Creed" is not intended for home use for the time being. Ubisoft is targeting VR arcades. The VR experience will initially only be available at the Ubisoft Centre in Montreal.
Whether "Assassin's Creed VR" will also be available on HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and co. at some point is unfortunately not known at the moment. But it would almost be surprising if Ubisoft were to miss out on this opportunity. Ubisoft has already released VR games such as "Star Trek: Bridge Crew" and "Eagle Flight".
