Google's Spotlight Stories Studio is known to release free VR films that leave a high-quality impression. The latest work is called "Sonaria", which focuses on a calm mood.
"Sonaria" tells the evolutionary history of the earth in just a few minutes with a rather unusual look, starting with the first cell. In addition to the graphics, the developers also place special emphasis on the sound, which is supposed to accompany the moving images in an atmospheric way. The making-of video provides some details and impressions.
Unusual for a "Google Spotlight Stories Work is the fact that one is allowed to move freely and fluidly (no jumps) in the scene. However, the action continues regardless of the user's position. The download is free of charge on Steam available. HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are supported. In addition, the "Google Spotlight Stories" app is available on iOS and Android available.
