A huge VR park is being built in China

VR enthusiasts might want to think about a trip to China, because a huge amusement park focusing on virtual reality is being built in the city of Guiyang. The VR park will open in the coming months.

"East Valley of Science and Fantasy", as the amusement park is called, is reminiscent of a sci-fi world. Especially the 50-metre-high mech/transformer looks impressive. For it alone, 750 tonnes of steel were used. This also has its price, because the construction of the VR park is supposed to cost about 1.5 billion US dollars. However, part of the money will also go towards a VR film studio and a centre for research and development.

Those who enter the 80,000 square metre park are handed VR goggles and other gadgets at the entrance so that they can experience the various attractions. For example, you meet aliens and travel into space on a VR roller coaster. When the park is completed, 15 attractions and rides will be available. Further information can be found at official site. Graphics from "Star Wars" or "EVE: Valkyrie" are shown there, but one should not necessarily expect the appropriate licences.
