VR game like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" is currently enjoying huge success on the PC, breaking one record after another. So it's hardly surprising that other developers are also taking the "Battle Royale" genre take up. It even goes into virtual reality.

Oneiric Entertainment has now virtually announced a VR version of "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds". This involves "Virtual Battlegrounds"which will be playable with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift next year (presumably as an early access beta version).

The first gameplay video, which incidentally comes from a very early stage of development, shows that "Virtual Battlegrounds" actually has everything that belongs in a "Battle Royale" game. However, as VR headsets are not yet so widespread, only 16 players will be supported initially, according to Creative Director Sean Pinnock, but more could be added later.
