Porsche offers VR experience in Zurich

On 10 October 2017, Porsche opened a temporary showroom at Poststrasse 5-7 on Paradeplatz in Zurich. Until 22 December, customers, interested parties and sports car fans will be offered a special brand experience, first and foremost a VR experience.

"The Porsche pop-up store in Zurich is a new format with which we want to inspire customers for the brand in a different way. A Porsche never just fulfils a mobility need - our products clearly stand for emotion, design and intelligent performance. This standard applies to all products and services that we offer our customers," says Stephan Altrichter, Managing Director of Porsche Schweiz AG, on the opening of the new store in what is probably the most expensive location in the centre of Zurich on Paradeplatz.

With this concept, Porsche wants to reach existing and new target groups even better and meet them directly in their everyday lives. The new location, which opened on 10 October and will remain open until 22 December, is the first of its kind in Switzerland.

The offer includes a changing vehicle exhibition of the latest Porsche models, the Porsche Drive hire programme, Porsche Driver's Selection products, as well as digital media stations and a Porsche Virtual Reality Experience. Using virtual reality glasses, visitors have the opportunity to experience the latest Porsche products in a new and fascinating way. Visitors can also enjoy a virtual lap of the Porsche race track in Leipzig as a co-driver. In addition to the brand experience, the pop-up store offers the opportunity to receive personalised vehicle advice from a customer advisor from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.
