Zurich Gameshow shows the diversity of the gamer world up to VR

The Zurich Gameshow will take place from 20 to 22 October 2017 at Messe Zürich. The organisers are expecting over 20,000 gamers to make the pilgrimage to Zurich this weekend to test the latest games and devices.

Never before has the gaming industry been so well represented at a Swiss event. The Zurich Game Show will be by far the biggest gaming event in Switzerland with over 120 exhibitors and more than 300 public gaming stations. Renowned brands and retailers such as Nintendo, Asus, WOG - World of Games, Sony Playstation, Microsoft, Samsung, SAE HP, Steg, Media Markt, BenQ, Medion, Conrad, AOC, Giant Software, Joule Performance, Brack, Digitec and many more will be presenting their latest products in four halls, making every gamer's heart beat faster. Over the three days, visitors will have the exclusive opportunity to try out games that are not yet available in stores.

Virtual Reality

Of course, VR also has a big place at this event: Various exhibitors will be presenting the latest VR glasses and virtual reality experiences exclusively at the Zurich Game Show. Swiss game developers will also be showcasing their new VR products, which is why a large VR area will be set up in Hall 5. Among other things, the VR Center (Dietlikon), the developers of Arafinn and the We Are Cinema be our guest.

Incredible variety of games

Exciting new concepts such as the Red Bull Mind Gamers Container, which picks up on the escape room trend, make it clear that gaming is not just gaming on a PC or console. And the daily cosplay shows, which are judged by international stars of the scene, also show that the gaming scene is very diverse.

Game stars and autographs

The eSports tournaments ZURICH GAME MASTERS and SWISS GAMING CHALLENGE will take place on the large stages and will also be streamed live. The best eSports clans in Switzerland and guests from abroad will also be available to sign autographs and take photos.

Charles Martinet, "The voice of mario", will be on site on Saturday and Sunday and will be on stage, signing autographs and posing for photos. "It's me - it's Mario!" will not be the only star guest, however, with more guests still to be announced.
